No, Maxi-Cosi Pria convertible car seats need to be installed using the SMART Guide® installation method. You should only thread the top tether through the SMART Guide® on ONE side, and never on both sides. Using the conventional method is not possible for this seat.

Is Pria compact? Can I fit 3-across in my car?
Pria is the most compact 0-4 convertible car seat currently available. It’s compact base and narrow design permit you to fit 3 across in most cars while reducing the impact on other passengers in the car. This means Pria takes up less space than many other car seats.
Although Pria is a compact seat, it does not compromise on the internal space, providing a comfortable car seat.
Is Pria ISOFIX compatible?
Maxi-Cosi® Pria car seat is not ISOFIX compatible however, the Pria car seat features the new SMART Lock method of installation, providing a firm and secure fitment when installed correctly. SMART Lock installation method is just as easy to use as ISOFIX installation.
What are installation indicators? How do I use them?
When using the SMART Lock method of installation, you will notice two tension indicators within the mechanism. These indicators turn green to signal that there is enough tension through the SMART Lock. This feature provides an added level of assurance and makes the installation process more intuitive for parents, carers and installers.
