The Maxi-Cosi website is owned and operated by Dorel Australia Pty Ltd trading as Dorel Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 77 124 078 762). By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms and conditions and acknowledge and accept the disclaimers and that you have read and understood these terms and conditions. By purchasing a product or service from this website and/or by completing the registration process, you expressly agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Maxi Cosi may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any amendment will be effective immediately upon being published on this website. Your continued use (via browsing and purchasing product) of this website after any amendment becomes effective constitutes an agreement by you to abide and be bound by these terms and conditions, as so amended.
Sale of Goods
The products and services offered for sale on this website by Maxi Cosi are only available to individuals capable of entering into legally binding contracts. The products and services are not available to persons under the age of 18 years old or who, for whatever reason, are incapable or are legally prohibited from entering into binding contracts
Purchase of Goods
Any order placed by you via this website constitutes an offer by you to Maxi Cosi to purchase a particular product or service for the price (including the delivery and other charges) specified in this website at the time you place your order. Maxi Cosi reserves the right to accept or reject any offer for any reason, including, but not limited to, the unavailability of any product, an error or omission in the price or the product description, or an error in your order. No binding contract shall be formed unless Maxi Cosi communicates to you that it has accepted your order and payment of the purchase price has been confirmed.
Advertised prices for products and services, delivery and other charges are quoted in Australian dollars ($AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). They are current at the time they are published but may change at any time at the complete discretion of Maxi Cosi and are subject to availability.
Delivery
Please read our Postage and Delivery page for information concerning the range of delivery services available. Maxi Cosi retains title to the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products. While all efforts are made to ensure safe and timely delivery, all purchases are subject to a delivery contract. Consequently, the risk of loss of or damage to products passes to you upon our delivery of the products to the delivery contractor.

Warranty, Refund and Return Policy
1. CHANGE OF MIND
Dorel Australia Pty Ltd (“DOREL”, “we”, “our” or “us”) does not accept returns of products simply because you have changed your mind, nor does it give refunds for these products. Please choose your products carefully.
DOREL warrants that if your product suffers a defect in materials or workmanship at any time within for products other than car seats, 12 months of your original purchase; and for car seats, 10 years warranty on the seat and 3 years on the trim (from date of original purchase).

2. MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY
Dorel will, at your choice, refund or (where practical) repair or replace your product free of charge.
This warranty only applies to the first owner of the product and is not transferable. This warranty does not apply where the defect is caused by improper care (including any failure to use the product in accordance with the recommendations or instructions provided with the product), alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, impact damage or normal wear and tear that may be expected from daily use over an extended period (e.g. wear to wheels, rotating and moving parts etc.). You must retain and provide a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase in order to claim under this warranty.
DOREL will reimburse your reasonable expenses of claiming under this warranty.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights. In particular, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

You further agree that your comments will not contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website.
You may not use a false e‑mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third-party.
If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us.
Monthly Review Draw
1. Eligibility
The Monthly Review Draw (the "Draw") is open to legal residents of Australia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Dorel Australia PTY LTD, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the "Employees"), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Draw.
2. How to Enter
To enter the Draw, participants must submit a review of a product purchased from Dorel Australia PTY LTD during the specified monthly period on productreview.com.au and respond to the email from Dorel.
Only one entry per person per month is allowed.
Entrants must provide accurate and complete contact information to be eligible to win.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or late will be disqualified.
By entering the Draw, participants acknowledge that their review submission is voluntary and that they are entering the Draw to win the prize offered, with no additional compensation or incentive provided.
3. Selection of Winners
One winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during each monthly period.
The draw will be conducted within the first week following the end of each month.
The winner will be notified via email within seven days of the draw date.
If the winner does not respond within 14 days of the initial notification, another winner will be selected at random.
The winner will also be required to provide their proof of purchase or warranty certificate to claim their prize.
4. Prize
The winner will receive a prize of $500 (AUD), awarded in the form of a gift voucher or electronic transfer.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted.
Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.
5. General Conditions
Dorel Australia PTY LTD adheres to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) regarding incentivized reviews. Participants are reminded to provide honest and accurate feedback based on their genuine experience with the product.
Dorel Australia PTY LTD reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed to violate these Terms and Conditions.
Dorel Australia PTY LTD reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Draw if any fraud or other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Draw.
By participating in the Draw, participants release Dorel Australia PTY LTD and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability arising from their participation in the Draw or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
The Draw is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
General
1. Privacy
All personal information We collect is protected by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Any and all information collected on the Website will be dealt with in accordance with the Privacy Act and these Terms and Conditions.
2. Notices
Any notice or other communication given to a party under or in connection with the hire of the Equipment shall be in writing, addressed to that party at the address specified to the other party in writing in accordance with this clause, and shall be delivered personally, sent by post or other next working day delivery service, commercial courier, fax or e-mail.
A notice or other communication shall be deemed to have been received:
if sent by post or next working day delivery service, at 9.00 a.m. on the second business day after posting;
if delivered by commercial courier, on the date and at the time that the courier's delivery receipt is signed; or
if sent by fax or e-mail, one business day after transmission.
You must notify Us if you change your residential address within 7 days.
3. Severability
If any provision or part-provision of the Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be severed from the Terms and Conditions.
To the extent possible, any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of the Terms and Conditions and the hire of the Equipment.
4. Waiver
A waiver of any right under these Terms and Conditions or law is only effective if it is in writing and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach or default.
No failure or delay by a party in exercising any right or remedy provided under these Terms and Conditions or by law shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor shall it prevent or restrict its further exercise of that or any other right or remedy. No single or partial exercise of such right or remedy shall prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.
5. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
6. Amendments
These Terms and Conditions may be amended by Us from time to time by giving notice of the amendment to You. Any amendment shall only apply to the hire of Equipment on or after the date any such amendment comes into effect. Notice is deemed given when We:
send notice of the amendment to You in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including via email); or
publish the amended terms on Our Website.
7. Transfer
Your obligations under these Terms and Conditions are non-transferable.
8. Governing law
These Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the State of Victoria, Australia.
9. Continuing obligations
Each of the obligations set out in these Terms and Condition apply in respect of the hire of the Equipment for any period following the Hire Period.
10. Change of Mind BF 2021, Free Returns
Orders placed on and between 25 Nov 2021 and 29 Nov 2021 via the Maxi Cosi Website, will have the option of returning the product free of charge within 30 Business days from the date of purchase; subject to physical inspection.
The product(s) must be in its original condition, packaging, and unused.

Refunds will be issued within 10 Business days from the date the product is received into our Melbourne warehouse.
11. Customer Service
Some of our staff are on a well eared break! There will be a small delay in getting our products out of our warehouse and to Australia Post. There is a extra picking/packing time of 7 days. Please be patient with us as we try to get orders out ASAP.
Definitions
“Additional Hire Charges” means the amount specified by Us for the hire of the Equipment for a period following the Hire End Date and which is payable by You.
“CCA” means the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including Schedule 2 to that Act, the Australian Consumer Law.
“Claims” means any claim (whether actual or contingent), including a claim for loss, damages and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of tort, breach of statute, breach of warranty or guarantee or breach of the Terms and Conditions.
“Confirmation” means the confirmation of hire of equipment issued by Dorel confirming the Equipment, Hire Charge, Hire Start Date and Hire End Date.
“Dorel” means Dorel Australia Pty Ltd.
“Website” means maxi-cosi.com.au or may refer to a related Dorel digital platform
